Apple patents a thin headphone jack

With each new iPhone model, Apple makes a special emphasis on the thickness of the smartphone. Although the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus became a little thicker predecessors, in the future we can see much more subtle devices. As the thickness of the smartphone manufacturers face different constraints, whether the size of the battery, camera and headphone jack. That's it, if you believe the new patent companies, Apple is going to alter. For many years, we use a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack. Apple engineers decided to reduce the thickness of the plug by cutting it with one hand. This will slightly reduce the thickness of the smartphone, but for the precious fractions of a millimeter have to forfeit friendliness.

This patent may serve as confirmation of rumors that the next iPhone 7, which is waiting for the next autumn, will be the thinnest iPhone's history.
